Camufingo is an Afro-European music producer and audio engineer based in Luanda, Angola.

Having found his love for music via rap at the age of 16, he soon went from rapping to focusing on the production and mixing side of things.

After acquiring a degree in audio engineering at the SAE Berlin in 2008 he started working as a freelancer as well as an employee in mostly audio post production.

During that time he was also producing, recording and mixing for mostly German and Angolan rap artists, which later down the line came to outweigh jobs in audio post.

In 2019 he decided it was time to finally relocate to Angola which was also facilitated by the fact that most of the time he had already been working mobile and remotely,

so there was no significant loss of clients or work.

In Luanda he's continuing to work as a freelancer in the respective areas as well as honing his craft as a music producer for various genres.

Over the last couple of years he's gotten back into audio post and audio for picture but from a more artistic side, mainly composing and sound design.

He was lucky enough to have worked on 3 independent Angolan short films, as well as a few ad spots and is striving to be more involved in that field.

He's most comfortable with producing Hip-Hop/Rap, Funk/Soul and is starting to get more into modern scores and trailers which are genres he always found enticing.
